Sex sells! The opening of Supermartxe.
This content might not be suitable for a younger audience. Did I get your attention now? Hahaha … sex sells! Keep on reading.
This weekend I could go to three opening parties: Supermartxe (Friday), Matinee (Saturday) and La Troya (Sunday). Johan probably only will go to Matinee, because he can not combine three parties with his work.
Our Madrid friend Miguel just asked us this week:
“How’s life in Ibiza?”
Johan replied: “Hahaha … life is good here”
“I don’t think it can be boring.” Miguel laughed, “Your pics on Facebook don’t say that. Always partying and always new visitors!”
Maybe it looks that we are going to every opening party, because I tweet about ALL parties on IBZholdayBIZ. But this is because it is linked to our blog on the website www.ibizaholiday.biz just to show the readers where they could go to.
More about Supermartxe last night. We (my sister Petra and her friend Annemiek and me) arrived around 1.30 AM at Privilege. The opening of the curtain (when you see all gogo dancers) was around 2.30 PM. It started, like last year, with an opera singer who sang “Con te Partiro” written by Francesco Sartori while an illuminated cyclist rode above our heads in a wheel.
And then you get this WOW-feeling, when the curtain opens totally. Beautiful light on 20 gogo-dancers, drags, and performers on a stage with a carousel and comic figures, smoke machines and fire cannons.
I have been following Nalaya Brown for a few years now. She is from Tenerife but is traveling all over the world, from Rio to Madrid to Ibiza. Supermartxe contracted her a few years ago to be the main act. This year Nalaya is judging on The Voice of Spain (La Voz) on TeleCinco.
Oh and … sex sells. And the clubs on Ibiza know!
We went home at 5.30 AM. In a next post I will tell you how to get on the Guestlist of these parties. And how I am “stalking” Nalaya with my art work.
