Picture time! Opening HACO store Ibiza.
It is Monday now: time to come back to the real world!
Johan went to his work this morning at the Haco store, so time for me to choose some pictures out of the 500 I took at the opening last Saturday. And in a later blog post I will show you the great pictures we took at the lovely dinner at Blue Marlin and the “after party” at Pacha.
Last Friday Johan (with some help) cleaned the store. He parked the Haco truck in front of the store. And I bought a bouquet of orange flowers, a present from my father and his wife Agniet.
Saturday morning our friends Dennis, Antoin, Peter and Bert and I went one more time to the Hipodromo in San Jordi, where there is a flea market with a lot of locals.
“¡Qué buena idea, mucha suerte!” the people at the neighbor stores said.
And some neighbors asked us to put flyers at their cashier desk. Including a nice Spanish girl at an optician store, where I bought Johan his Ray-ban for his birthday.
“I will come and bring a lot of friends who are decorating their houses!” she said. More about her later…
“Let the party begin!” Johan said with a little bit nervous voice.
But suddenly two new clients walked in who wanted to buy a couch and a chair. So the first hour Johan missed the party.
But finally he could enjoy.
When entering the store each visitor had to write down his/her name and email address and they got a number for the lottery.
At half past three Johan’s boss Erik-Jan Lancee gave a speech in which he glorified Johan with a laugh and … a tear?
And Mark and Erik-Jan himself got an oorkonde from the HACO chairman.
And then it was time for the lottery! See here the funny video of the local Ibiza girl (from the Ray-ban store!!) who wins and starts screaming when she hears that she won the boxspring bed worth 2.000 euros:

The party was until 5 PM and the weather was so beautiful, that we could stand outside. See here some of the 500 pictures I took:
This week more pictures from the dinner at Blue Marlin and the after party at Vintage Pacha!
To be continued…
