Captain one-eye is going to Ibiza.

Today we had to go to the vet, to remove the sutures above Karel his eye. Mirjam, the vet from Dierenkliniek Crooswijk in Rotterdam, already told us that if the wound still had not healed for the third time, they would totally remove his eye orb. That is why our appointment was already at 9:00 in the morning, so there was enough time for surgery.
After she removed the sutures, the third eye lid did not go back to the corner. It had grown together with the eye opening. Also the wound above his eye was red, probably infected. So we decided for general anesthesia and see under the eyelid if it was still worth saving his eye. But it wasn’t.
At 3:00 o’ clock we picked up our little Captain One-Eye, still a bit groggy. Ten years old and already three surgeries in two months! And again medicines and the protective cover for another two weeks. And at Ibiza no sand or sea until the sutures are dissolved.
Poor old Captain One-Eye. Well at least it was the left eye on the side where his ear was cracked too.
So my nephew Jesper Dolk changed our logo immediately:
(3) awesome folk have had something to say...
