A new beach dance party at Chiringay.
The village where we live, La Revista, is a 5 minutes walk from Es Cavallet-beach with two great beach restaurants La Escollera and El Chiringuito. If you go to the right at El Chiringuito and you walk for 15 minutes, with the sea on your left hand, you arrive at “the gay beach” with the restaurant Chiringay.
Last Sunday was there a new party: “Peyton presents: Beach House Sessions” with singer Peyton Christopher and DJ Beth Yen. Peyton and his love Boris Blancafort have lived for three years on the island, near Sa Caleta.
Peyton introduced this new party on his Facebook-page with the following text:
“Folks (including myself) are forever complaining that Ibiza has changed. They say the music has changed. They say the parties have changed. They say the energy has changed. Where are all those gorgeous outdoor parties with like-minded souls we all remember dancing at for hours, singing along to the kind of music that made us feel like maybe, just maybe everything was going to be alright? I say, if we aren’t happy with the changes, then LET US BE THE CHANGE! Meet me this Sunday on one of Ibiza’s most stunning beaches at one of the island’s best-loved locations, for the beginning of what promises to be a return to the old Ibiza . . . a new fiesta . . . ‘PEYTON presents BEACH HOUSE SESSIONS!”
So true if you love vocal house and smaller parties.
In the morning we were so busy with booking flight tickets and hotels for our holiday to Asia in January, that we left a bit late for the beach, I think around 4 PM. The beach was packed! We only could get one sun bed and no parasol. Australian DJ Beth Yen was playing great vocal house, our favorite dance music.
We were sitting next to Paola Divina Luna from Paris, a celebrity in the gay clubbing scene.
Soon Thierry and Jeroen also arrived with their two friends from Paris, who are renting our house at La Revista. We had so much fun in the water. Crazy guys!
Peyton did a great show and people were dancing on the beach or in the restaurant.
This party will be held every Sunday, which we of course like a lot! Since Johan has his job for HACO, the Sunday’s feel like a holiday for us. And we love Es Cavallet beach. And the doggies enjoy it too. Iep does not stop with challenging us to throw her ball in the water. And when we are fed up, she finds somebody else who wants to play with her. And Karel loves to watch the sea from our sun beds.
